You should make it clear that 2.0.8 was never widely circulated because some bugs were found at the last minute. Ohterwise, it is not clear why you make a reference to a release that nobody ever saw, and also why it has such a strange numbering.

I thought about that, but the release seems to have been packaged by Fedora, at least, and people downloaded Uwe's binary from Sourceforge, as well. I can make it clear in the announcement
when I do the release, though.
