Thanks for all of the details, Joon. My guess is that they are differences between the installation files and not the underlying core LyX code. That's really just an unfounded guess though. I don't know if we'll get to the bottom of this unless you are able to compile LyX yourself, which I think is tricky under Windows. Scott
