I think you and Vincent are talking about something different. I'm talking about automake 1.15. Suppose it is released tomorrow. LyX 2.1 will fail to compile with it. I'm wondering if this should be mentioned in INSTALL or not. I have no experience with maximum versions of dependencies. Are they usually specified? Scott
