I think it would make sense to have a metadata pane, and it would probably
eliminate the need for an EPUB metadata module. Perhaps the biggest issue
would be to determine how to enable the user to input multiple values for a
field (such as multiple authors), but that might not be that difficult a
problem to solve.

I'll stick with a metadata module for right now, as Google wants us to
submit a code sample taken from September 16th and earlier, but long term
it would be nicer to have the metadata entered as part of the document
settings.
