Hi Pavel, The problem with lyxpipe is that as you say, is a lot more complicated. I will have different types of images with potentially different outputs besides the image itself (math formulas, tables, probably some text and so on) that I will want to change and extent over time. As I am doing it now, I just need to format the stuff in lyx as I like, and then see want the clipboard looks like. Besides, if it gets complicated enough, it's already a lyx file that I can save to disk (but still it wouldn't be possible to copy the relative paths to another lyx file). Lfun seems quite some struggle for formatting and a lot more when changing something.
I would prefer to strip the absolute routes from the saved lyx document at commit time (that is a simple regexp), but I was hoping for a nicer solution in the future. After all, I would argue that the current behaviour is at best inconsistent in Linux, and directly broken in Windows. Regards, Zahari.
