#7951 is mine, #8729 is from Jürgen with an addition from me, #8759 is from Julien and #8723 is from Uwe. Vincent, please consider picking up the four patches for the beta. They are 100% safe, and IMHO it does not make sense to release a beta with known problems if simple solutions exist for these problems. Unfortunately I have no time to commit myself before Saturday, so it would be nice if somebody else could do it. Georg
