Dear Jean-Marc, I hope to start the initial work from tomorrow as I am done with my exams.
I already started to go through the features of LyX and hope to make use of them as much as possible. I hope that will help to understand how the insets are working and how they will affect this implementation. Could you confirm that the current version of development is 2.1.0? Are we going to use that for the implementation of this project? The source that I have experimented on so far, is this version. I added a brief introduction to the wiki page and hope to update it according to the progress. In this week I hope to learn more about LyX, learn how to add fixes to the Git repository according to LyX standards, study about the content of Row.cpp and how that will be useful to implement horizontal movements.
