If you restore those files, it's fine.
The first two look pretty general; the last is obviously specific to
gettext. So we should probably try to get rid of the latter dependency,
and possibly restore the others. But JMarc actually does understand this
stuff. Or at least he pretends to.
Hopefully I got it right now.
Confirmed. I removed gettext-devel and configured just fine.
