No, they are not life-saving fixes and we have to stop adding new things
at some point.
- Should the "minipage within minipage" Settings bug be addressed
before 2.1, or do we release it? http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/8716
If you have a fix, I will think about it, but there is no reason to
postpone the first beta for this.
