Usually a document is kept under revision control along with any included files (images). As long as the path to the image is relative, it will be found on any computer that has a copy of all the files.

So I guess it's best to do this with your document, too. We can create a directory for examples in your clone of the LyX source repository.

The mentors of this project will know best where to put such files. For testing, including usability testing of variants, we can then just open the necessary .lyx file.

In this case, the existing examples (table, labels) actually already suffice to see how things work (at least for me), but having a copy of the .lyx file and image in the git repository (as test files) is still a good idea, I think.

I got that and was able to do few changes. But I am finding a way to embed an
image to the document. In my attachment, the image is saved under my local
address. So if I open it in another computer, that image link is not there. Am
I right with this?
But pdf output allows to exchange the image.
