Just today I smashed my head against a naive problem related to horizontal size
of tables and lstlisting.

I wanted to put two listings inside two table cells one beside the other, in
the same tabular row.
Unfortunately, LyX insisted in each of the two listings (the 1st, the only
visible one) to take up
the whole horizontal space on the screen, w/out any chance to be able to see
nor edit the 2nd
listing, that I had pasted on the right cell. Can't remember how I got into the
situation, likely
I copied into the right cell first, then the left cell.
However, the only way out, was to use Ctrl-L and put the tabular stuff around
the two listings as
native LaTeX code :-( !!!! Soooo, bad! Needless to say, output on the PDF was
ok!

Now, not so precisely tight on the horizontal scrollbar, however it's a further
sign we need more
work on how LyX handles the horizontal space :-)!

Bye,

        T.
