No, this links semantic and static markup too closely. Rather than that, the concept should be explained and encouraged in the docs. IIRC this was the case in earlier versions of the Tutorial (when I discovered LyX), but it seems to have disappeared and is now only (too) briefly touched in the UG. Jürgen
