I am not sure (yet) whether this is a good thing. The fact is that my new code avoids extra empty paragraphs at the end of verbatim, but I am not sure whether they had a purpose. Georg, Uwe, could you comment?
BTW, is there somewhere a description of how these test work? A readme file would be nice.
