I currently try to keep up-to-date on pushes to the repo by reading
the lyx-cvs emails. However, I just realized that I might be missing
some commits that I would be interested in because when someone pushes
more than one commit at once, it is stacked in one email. The top one
might be "typos" and I might not want to read it. But underneath the
typos commit could be 5 commits that I would be interested in
studying.
Is it possible to tell whether one email on lyx-cvs contains multiple
commits? Would it be easy and desirable to indicate how many commits
there are, in the subject line? For example, instead of "[LyX master]"
it could be "LyX master (4)" if there were 4 commits?
This can be done. It's a matter of updating the script that sends these
emails. I'll try to find time to do that.
Only if that would be useful to others as well.
If you point me towards the script I could try to take a look also.
I'll send it separately.
