Dear all

It was quite easy to implement proper beamer frame layouts (i.e. using the
real frame environments and getting rid of all lyxframe hacks and limitations,
e.g. wrt fragile frames). There is still some polishment to to (e.g. wrt the
outliner movement), but in general the attached works well and produces clean
output.

However, conversion of the old frame (BeginFrame/EndFrame) stuff to this new
scheme strikes me very difficult and error-prone. So I propose the following:
Factor out the old frame stuff to a module (as attached) and load this module
for any old beamer document on conversion. These documents are then guaranteed
to compile, and old/new frame could even be used in parallel. On reversion, I
would simply use ERT \begin{frame} ... \end{frame}.

What do you think?
Is it worth trying to do a proper conversion? I will actually have some time to work on this in the near future. If that failed, we could go with this.
