I most certainly missed that. Last time this discussion was held it
was pointed out that the default choice of fonts in LyX was bitmap.
This no longer seems to be the case.
You misunderstood me. The default font depends on our LaTeX configuration and I guess this is in
many cases still the bitmap version of the ComputerModern fonts. I was referring to the fact that
almost every PDF or DVI viewer can render also bitmap fonts so that they don't look pixeled. (One
only sees the different to vector fonts when zooming in.)
