/usr/local/bin/gs is 6.60 and i want gs6.01 for inline rendering (for
nothing else), so i set \ps_command "/usr/bin/gs"

but why? is this documented anywhere?
is preferences and lyxrc the same (same tags), and if yes, why do we

i think its not there (i haven't seen it)

i have set ps_command manually in preferences and it's working :))
interesting thing:
after saving preferences through the dialog
there's a nice comment in the file
  # Program used for interpreting postscript.
