I believe it is the same (american english) when using CJK.sty (or what did you mean by CJK-LaTeX?). I doubt that this would help. A text has always a language, but in some cases we might not know it. You would need to implement many special cases, and it would not offer anything more than english + \language_package none. If anybody wants to implement this, please use "None" or "Unspecified" rather than "Default", since "Default" implies that in the end a particular language is used, which would be wrong. > We can prevent the use of babel with > > \language_package none > > without file-version change.
