Perhaps, but I'm not sure I fully understand what your patch was
supposed to do. So here's a patch of mine that changes the layout
names. Can you tell me if it works right?
PS I'm very happy to see this machinery extended to the TOC. See the
FIXME there in validate() regarding XHTML styling. I think I ought to be
able to fix that now.
