I read the argument differently: if the situation is rare, a simple per
document toggle would be enough. A per inset toggle is more confusing
(more visible in the UI) IMO.

I had in mind the kind of document I'm working on at the moment where
there are perhaps 20 instant previews of spreadtab tables, which work
perfectly with the present setting, and a couple of instances which give
the false previews.
