That's not a bad idea, I'm only refrained from the fact that all developers
would be flooded by the non-sense commits :-) on the CVS list.
Also, are you suggesting to create a regular SVN branch, rather than
a full-fledged remote-tracking git-svn following-tracking, thousands-
times-per-week forking and re-joining, continuously pushed but
rebased and impossible to remotely track git branch :-) ?
. . . just joking, I'm far from any "serious" commitment as I've
just moved to Dublin, but if there's a chance that others get
interested and are willing to help, then a branch may be worth.
