Hi, Interesting! What would you like to achieve with this alternative? What are the shortfalls of chktex, apart that it currently has no proper maintainer? Btw, something more directly LyX related, the chktex interface could be enhanced with a filter that can suppress error numbers at will. What do others think? Cheers, Sam
