    Hi to all,

I am slowly getting acquainted to LyX development by fixing small
bugs for the moment, but I would like to investigate how much
collaborative real-time editing is a possibility given the
current code - Is LyX ready for this, or would it need to change
the architecture? Many thanks for your opinions about that.

There was a long discussion about that on the mailing list some time ago, and I am not sure if there was a consensus if this is useful - I think the subject was " **Strategies for Writing Co-operation with Non-LyX Users?" but I am not sure.

I think the conclusion was that some people find it useful, but that no one involved in development found it useful enough to want to do the work. But if someone does....

Someone just needs to start making a prototype.
