In the preferences we have under Look & Feel the option
Save documents compressed by default What exactly does this do?Here on Windows, I cannot see any effect. The saved files are still uncompressed. Also the backup files are uncompressed.
I only get a compressed file when I use the option Document->Compressed. --- Can anybody else confirm http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/7819 ? (I don't get the oxygen icon theme.) thanks and regards Uwe
