I didn't had the time to investigate earlier.

I don't have any problem neither with my LyX-2.0.0 nor with the current 
developer version.
This is what I get in messages window when using forward-search:

12:35:48.460: /Applications/Skim.app/Contents/SharedSupport/displayline 514 
Tutorial.pdf Tutorial.tex
12:35:48.469: (forward-search)

... and it works for me.
