Thank you, Liviu. In fact, there's already a bug report #7681 related to the same thing (as i see it), and I thought it would be more convenient to have some discussion here. Now I'm confused :) #7681 is a bug report for one special case, but the same happens in many others. #7681 is marked as "fixedintrunk" "fixedinbranch", and I'm not sure how much attention it can get as such, nor if I'm allowed to change the keywords.
Please leave this one alone. It's a different bug and we have these keywords to keep track of what has been fixed in development versions.
Should I expand the report at the same place? Should I open a new ticket? I'm quite new here, but willing to help --- as a 'thanks for a great software'. So, excuse me for being impatient, it's just a beginner's enthusiasm. :)
What you describe in this thread sounds more like what is described in comment 16 by stwitt on bug #7677. Whether you comment there or on the mailing list, don't feel offended by a lack of replies. Volunteer work is what it is. But as long as there is a bug report for it, it won't be forgotten.
Regards!
