There is a similar report for macports LyX on Lion... https://trac.macports.org/ticket/30629 I don't know if it's related... I myself cannot reproduce your problem, but I don't use the LyX 2.0 from MacPorts. I'm using LyX as it is available from www.lyx.org on Mac OS X 10.6.8. Stephan
