I assigned 'command-sequence buffer-view pdf2 ; buffer-export pdf2 ;' to ctrl+shift+b and it works as expected on my system: Evince pops up displaying the PDF preview and the PDF is being exported to the LyX document folder at the same time. This seems to cover your original request, but I may have misunderstood it.
