I added this module after a discussion. We came to the conclusion that a module is perhaps not the best UI but simple and intuitive for the users. I therefore created it and also to use it for our new thesis template. I saw today Helges documentation for it. I will review it and add it to the docs (if possible as addition to the UserGuide).
