Don't you think this should depend on the language? Your point might be 
correct for English, but as I have repeatedly pointed out, in German, casing 
*is* orthographically contrained.

And it's not only a matter of "accidentally typing a capital". People do have 
problems with orthographic rules, and in German texts, capitalization errors 
due to lacking knowledge of the rules are in fact common.

Hunspell is capable to do checking of this sort, as the LibreOffice spell 
checker (which is hunspell) proves. The prerequisite is that the spell checker 
is provided with sentences, not lexical items.
