Sorry, my question was incomplete because I didn't mention the
motivation : I would like to be able to reorganize a big document, by
transfering, for instance, section 10.2 just after subsection 2.4.2 (so
that it becomes subsection 2.4.3 in the document). But if I select the
section 10.2 and try to transfer it at its logical place with the
arrows, it seems that chapter 2 closes itself whatever state of the
"Keep" button is ? (or did I miss some other option?). The same if I
select section 10.2 with right click and cut it with Edit/cut, chapter 2
closes, so I have to reopen it, together with section 2.4, before being
able to paste it at its logical place.
This is why I suggested to associate an extra attribute to each
sectioning command of the LyX file (or a comment line containing the
info), so that the refresh process of the "Plan" window can refresh it
knowing that the current state of chapter 2 is "Open" and the current
state of section 2.4 is "Open" also, and thus redisplay the window with
chapter 10 open, and chapter 2 and section 2.4 open also. But maybe I
misunderstood the way the "Plan" window is refreshed, and it's not a
good way?
