Committed in r38647. Now we simply set the language, no BufferParams cloning
anymore.
The only remaining cases in which this doesn't work immediately is when
the dialog
is already shown, like when you open LyX and it is remembered as shown.
Personally, I would be in favor of removing the remembering of the pane
visibility
status for this particular dockpane, because of the other
inconsistencies in the UI
it causes in the current code. For example, no documents open forbid the
pop-up
of the Adv F&R, but if you start LyX and it remembers it as open, then
it will open
it anyway. Also, I see this as a functionality that I pop-up when I need
it, then I
don't like it to pop-up automatically all the times because I forgot to
close it.
Again, this may be personal, let's hear from others (any planned preference
option for remembering the status of all the docking panes ?).
