I just noticed on the download page (http://www.lyx.org/Download), there is this text under the "Mac OS X Binaries" heading: "Make sure that you run the LyX-installer provided in the disk image, and see the LyX/Mac wiki page for further installation tips." That's no longer true with Stephan's package for 2.0, and it should be deleted.
Also, the LyX/Mac wiki page could use some updating, but I don't seem to have the right password to edit it. BH
