I've already been in a project that underwent such surgery, and in
that case the "asynchronous" transplant had serious complications. But
then things stabilized, and as far as I'm concerned it was well worth
it. In any case, many agree that 2.0 is one of the most stable
releases ever, so I'd take it as a good sign.
