+1 I'd rather propose a download at lyx.org for additional things - like dictionaries or layouts et al - and the possiblity to open the downloaded thing somehow and incorporate it into LyX user directories. That way the user has the full control what happens. The LyX binary is not responsible for these tasks, IMHO. Stephan
