| Lyx works fine for me with rather short files.

I figured out that the behavior of lyx has to do with some huge eps figures I
included. Lyx dissappeared from the screen without any error message but it
is still running a while as indicated in the list of active processes.
However I noticed there also at least two sleeping gs processes when lyx
died. For example:

When I removed the big eps files from the document everything is working OK.

As far as I remember there has been no solution for that.
