It might be also that the indenting depends on the question of
outputting or not an empty line after environments...
Yes, perhaps this is the time to remind ourselves that LyX isn't WYSIWYG
and that minor inconsistencies between on-screen display and output
formats aren't a huge deal.
In any event, it would be too late to do something like this for 2.0.
