I have to ask this: How am I supposed to reply to a bug if it is
getting
closed? For example:
http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/7372
The Listings options I use are valid. But I can't tell that to the
developer who closed the bug because, well, he closed the bug.
I seem to be able to comment on closed bugs. It is also possible to
reopen bugs.
Oops, sorry. I didn't notice that the bug tracker doesn't keep me
logged in when I go back to it :-P
Anyway, to answer your question: you have to check the checkbox "Bypass
validation" in case you supply valid parameters which are unknown to LyX.
I did that, otherwise it would not have let me apply them. The problem
is that now it doesn't let me apply anything, even when not changing
anything in the Listings section of the dialog. I believe that once you
applied the settings by bypassing validation, it should not require you
again to enable the bypass; you already did that the first time and
settings have been applied already.
