Liviu, Vincent, you both suggested a layout editor as a possible summer of code project. Would it possible for you (and everyone else interested!) to take a look at the specs that Helge wrote (and which I copied on the wiki page for GSoC2011) and see whether it´s possible to distill a one paragraph description out of them? Even more importantly, would you take a stab at a description of ¨Expected results¨? Helge´s description seems too ambitious to me, for a 2 months project. But I ´m not a developer.
