The Glossaries package is much more flexible than nomenclature as far as I can tell. It allows for:
- An acronym list as well as the glossary - Linking between an acronym listing and it's glossary entry - Automatic expansion of acronym when it is first used in text and acronym form for latter usage in text You can see what I mean here: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/8946/how-to-combine-acronym-and-glossary/8951#8951 How can I can this working in Lyx? I tried to get it working with by combining usage of Glossaries and Nomenclature here: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/12346/use-a-quality-glossary-and-acronym-list-in-lyx However this does not work well and it would be much easier to use Glossaries natively in Lyx complete with makeindex/makeglossaries calls. Is this possible?
