I did not want to suggest an official backport, you're absolutely right there. Perhaps you like to hear that my company's decision to replace an Adobe product on Windows with LyX on Mac and Win is in evaluation, going quite positive so far :-) I need that version feature for my company - amongst others like tabular* or custom defaults, other toolbar icons etc. - so i maintain an inofficial patch line and just noticed it there first. Just anything what comes out there and seems to be worthy for 2.x will get to this list. Appliable and tested against lyx-devel/trunk of course. It's just not my day, i confused my testcases when mailing. Again, sorry if i'm more trouble than neccessary here. And please, no credits needed for quickfixes, no worries. /patrick
