i see one possible collision. we maintain TeXRow structure to keep mapping between .lyx cursor position <-> .tex lines. the moment you start do something magical inside newline structure of otexstream the machinery which automatacilly adds +1 on many places where we do some os<<"blabla\n" will collapse, no? pavel
