I am using WinXP SP3 (Polish) with MikTeX 2.9.3972. I've also confirmed the following with a fresh snapshot of XP SP3 inside VirtualBox 4.0.0 (LyX 2.0beta2 only).
I'd like to report a regression. As I recall, there have been some
changes in beta2 wrt the instant preview machinery.
The attached document demonstrates the problem with LyX. After
opening it:
- in 2.0beta1 the instant preview is correct for the equation BUT
incorrect for the plot
- in 2.0beta2 the preview inset with the plot ERT inside BLOCKS all
the other instant previews (the document looks like when "Instant
Preview" is set to "Off"). Sometimes it also blocks instant previews in
other tabs.
Either removing the preview inset "wrapping" or replacing the ERT
contents with something "casual" (like pure text) restores the correct
2.0beta2 behavior for new/edited equations and ERTs, although full
restart of LyX seems to be required for the unchanged equations'
previews to reappear.
PDF is rendered correctly in both versions.
