Not fair. I am not able to instantaneously fix them but I generally do so.

i fell somewhat uncomfortable about the last 'simplifying code' patches which
do not fix any bugs.
They enable me to fix 2 or 3 three important bugs. And the cleanups are
mechanical, nothing to worry about.
