Thank you for your help! I guess I'll have to wait until the next
beta comes out then. After that, I think the only remaining thing is to
change the look of it to be more like ERT (typewriter font, changing
color to red, etc.)
Still, it's not perfect, as it is not an inset (so it will always be
different than ERT) and it's an environment instead, but it would give
the feature that I've initially asked for.
Would it be fine to officially support this 'mini-module' in LyX?
I mean, to include it in sources and to treat any misbehavior of LyX
wrt it as a bug? I assure you, I'd be the first one to notice anything
like that :)
I'll have to think about including it. It's a pretty specialized thing,
and seems to me to be very much
an "expert" capability (the way local layout was for a while).
As far as the inset alternative goes, this is harder to do. I'm not sure
we'd want this inset turning up
on the last page of a document, and we don't really have any way to
prohibit its being there.
