What was wrong?I did the change because the buttons were vertically widened depending on the size of LyX#s main window and thus look ugly. My patch forbid the widening and it looked fine here on Windows. I expect that ui-files are parsed exactly the same on all platforms.
Now, after your and Stephan's changes, the whole dialog is now screwed up on Windows, not only the buttons, see the attached screen shot. (The LyX main window size is the default one you get after a fresh installation of LyX.)
In the next mail (to respect the list size limit of 50kB per mail) I'll attach is the ui-file that fixes the problem for me and also a screenshot with it.
