Yes, I realized this and that's why I want to try it.

That are good questions. In principle I think dictionaries should be included. 
Additions by users should be possible and as easy as possible.

But I don't know if there is any GPL to care for. We have to check this before.

Don't know. This one perhaps JMarc can answer...

And then - if I'm not misinformed - there are not so many languages available.

Anyway, I propose to investigate the framework idea with aspell as an example 
and see if it works. (This I'll do)
Later the question is which spell checker is the right one, there are plenty 
alternatives, unfortunately.
