Dear Lyx developers,
I'd like to request that the converter cache directory be moved from the user
settings directory to the temp directory (as configured in the Paths section of
the Preferences dialog).
This is actually important for me (and probably other users on Windows),
because I work in an environment with roaming profiles where we have a quota on
the size our profile can be (using proquota). The settings directory (e.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\lyx16) is part of this
quota, but the temp directory (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\Temp) isn't. The converter file cache takes me over quota (the cache
can easily be 10mb in size), so I get an annoying message box interrupt me
every hour, plus I have to manually delete the cache directory before I'm
allowed to log off Windows.
