To reproduce:

1. Create a LyX document, with at least one screenful of text. After
   this, insert a 10x10 table. (using a float is optional)
2. Position the cursor in the text above the table
3. Scroll the document, so the entire table is visible.
4. Click in some (visible) table cell.
5. Observe unnecessary scrolling so that the clicked cell ends up at
   the bottom of the screen.

One would expect no scrolling at all, in cases where the entire
table cell (or the entire table) is visble already.

The jump is at best annoying, and counterproductive in cases
where one wants to mark a column. Starting at the topmost cell,
most of the table scroll off the screen.

The problem does not happen if the cursor is inside the table
already. In that case, clicking outside the table may cause a similar
peculiar jump.
