This is (just) an iso10646-1 bitmap screen font. It is useful if you want to
use an iso10646-1 font in LyX and you don't have TrueType fonts.
The phrase "the entire TeX repertoire" means that this font has all the
glyphs in the symbol fonts of TeX, so it will be useful once Alejandro
publish the code to the new mathed.
